WHOA has rescued hundreds of orphaned, injured, or malnourished mustangs and burros over its 30+ year history. The Lappin family - Dawn, Burt, and son, Brett, provide around the clock care to foals who are brought to them by BLM, Highway Patrol, Animal Control, or other service. Rescued foals - both BLM and Comstock, horse & burro - are then made available for adoption to good homes. |
